Released in 1972, Pink Flamingos became an underground cinema phenomenon. At the centre of it all was Divine, whose larger-than-life personality, outrageous appearance and complete disregard for convention made her an enduring counterculture icon.
The front features Divine in a striking red dress, towering orange hair and dramatic make-up, pointing a pistol directly towards the viewer. Meanwhile, the explosive orange, pink and green artwork captures the chaotic energy of the original film poster.
